I am very fortunate with the people I have met, beginning, at the start of my acting career with Sir Bernard Miles who took me as a 17 year old young actress under his wing. It was at the Mermaid Theatre that I met so many illustrious names and was so well protected and looked after by Bernard. These days I suppose cabaret is probably my first love having spent a year as Tallulah in Tallulah and The Boy (a touring one woman show in Marbella) and subsequently in Sadie and the Faded Ladies. As Tallulah I appeared in the private theatre of Xaviera Hollander, the original Happy Hooker famous from the 60s. Heidi Schiller- the eccentric opera singer character from Sondheim's Follies was another highlight at the Pleasance.
